Picture magic

Such a nice way to create a magnificent picture gift, do banners, boarders, anything! Love how it all comes out, the layout options and sharing.

Great app. intuitive UI

I needed to make a collage in a pinch and this did the trick. Thanks for a great app. The UI is reasonably well designed and will be immiedately familair to anyone who has used Apple’s numbers or pages.

Doesn’t Alow You To Print

Worthless.

App constantly crashed

The app started out OK, created my collage tried some of the built in image effects and the app kept crashing. Never saved the project that was open so had to keep building out my 1st collage. I wouldn’t pay for the full version. It does appear to have some cool features, just won’t ever know.

This app works!

I’m not big on rating apps especially on my Macbook Pro but this one deserves more than 9 reviews. I downloaded it in December 2014 so that I could create a collage of pictures for our 2014 Christmas letter. Used the free version. Worked well; not perfect but I used the free version… I shpould probably pay for the Pro version, it’s probnably worth $10. I looked at several other collage apps when I was ready to do our 2015 Christmas letter and decided to stick with this. Worked well again… Deserves 5 stars….

SO quick and easy and fabulous results!!! An awesome app!!!

Yesterday I decided it was time to think about Christmas cards and/or letter. I decided to send a 4x6 picture to our Christmas card recipients… then decided to try and do one as a collage. I didn’t have much time, and had never done anything like this, but wanted it to look nice. I searched the web for how to make a picture collage and the CollageIt 3 Free app popped up. I decided to give it a try, figuring if it was frustrating I would try something different. It was SO easy! I put some pics in an iPhoto album… imported the entire album into CollageIt Free… chose the size collage I wanted… scrolled through the styles and made my choice (Mosaic 17) which let me put 5 pics in the collage… then wondered what ‘sparse’ was so clicked on that. Wow, that threw 5 different pics into the template (sort of looked like 5 mini framed pics). As I kept changing the different sparse options (I think there were 10), the layout and 5 pics kept changing… and each picture was actually already cropped nicely (vs always the center of each picture - cutting off someones head). I finally decided sparse 4 was the perfect layout and mostly great pics for what I wanted, so I chose that. Then I changed one of the pics - by grabbing and dropping what I wanted from the side bar onto the ‘frame’ I wanted it in… and swapped placed with two of the pics. The collage looked wonderful and I don’t think it had even been 1/2 hour from the start of my web search to my finished project! I exported my finished project to my user account / folder where I have pics for uploading to, in my case, Costco Photo. Then I went to Costco Photo… uploaded it… chose a 4x6 print... had to crop a tad off the top and bottom of my horizontal print (surprised I had to do this but the pictures were still all great with the crop) … placed my order… and an hour later my prints were ready. They look wonderful!!! I am so very pleased with the results… and SO delighted that it took very little of my time, and NO frustration, to do it. I wish I had thought about doing this before I ordered a throw… I would have tried to do a collage on it also (which I just might try in the near future). This is an awesome app!!!
